Each student by the end of the course:

  • To be able to assess the Health status/ identifying Health needs / Problems, Planning, Implementing & Evaluating the care of the Patients / Clients.
  • To instill & develop Skill & Aptitude for Nursing to be able to provide Comprehensive, Holistic nursing care to the needy.
  • A broad concept of the Fundamental Principles of Nursing care based on sound knowledge & satisfactory level of skill in providing care to people of all ages in a community or Institutional setting.

  • Understanding of the application of principles from the Physical, Biological, Social & Behavioural Sciences for implementing the nursing services.
  • Understanding of principles of teaching, learning & their application in their work situtaion.
  • To prepare the student for futuristic global level competency in delivering health care systems in community & Hospitals.
  • To be able to develop leadership skills, techniques of care & teaching skills.
  • Practices ethical values in personal & professional life.
